Sporting a full-size deluxe American Walnut buttstock, the T/C 22 LR Classic features a solid steel receiver, and a 22" Match Grade Barrel which is precisely threaded into the receiver for maximum rigidity. Unlike a majority of the 22's with pressed fit and pinned barrels, the T/C 22 LR Classic'sTM precise barrel lock up, being threaded into the receiver, results in superior accuracy from shot to shot. The T/C 22 LR ClassicTM is equipped with an adjustable rear sight and a ramp-style front sight with "easy to pick up" Fiber Optics. The rifle loads from a detachable 5-shot clip. The convenient clip release is located in front of the trigger guard for ease of reloading. The trigger guard safety lock supplied with the rifle offers additional security when the gun is stored. The solid steel receiver is drilled and tapped to accept a WeaverTM-Style scope base. The deluxe American Walnut buttstock is equipped with quick detachable sling swivel studs and a tasteful pistol grip cap. The manual thumb safety is easy to use and conveniently located on the right side of the receiver. The T/C 22 LR ClassicTM is a streamlined, solid .22 rifle which will appeal to the discriminating small bore rifleman. Sporting the same sleek and graceful lines of the T/C 22 Classic, the 22 Classic Benchmark has the same solid steel receiver with an 18" heavy target barrel threaded into the receiver. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped to accept a Weaver style or all steel Maxima scope base. The short 18" target barrel provides the optimum balance and stiffness that is required in precision target rifles.
The rich brown laminated stock gives the 22 Classic Benchmark the added stability needed for unsurpassed accuracy. The high comb and tastefully scalloped cheek piece aligns the shooter's eye with the scope and the broad sculpted forend is perfect for shooting off the bench.
